A 12-week outfield program for Baseball players: 36 guided sessions completed in order, on 2 or 3 training days a week that you choose (about 18 weeks at 2 days). The program is built in four three-week blocks: Ready, First Step and Reads; Routes and Ground Balls; Catch, Crow Hop and Throw; and Wall, Communication and Game Speed. Before the first session you choose the player's position (LF, CF, RF or several) and goals, and the plan is built around them. Every session starts with a readiness check, and a report of pain stops that day's training. Baseball only. Delivered in the Coach Bass app; there is no downloadable file.
The problem it solves
Outfield work without a plan is usually random fly balls. This program puts it in order: the ready position, first step and reads first, then routes and ground balls, then the catch, crow hop and throw, then the wall, communication and game speed.
What you will learn
- Train the ready position, first step and reads off the bat
- Take better routes to fly balls and ground balls
- Catch, crow hop and throw in one motion
- Play the wall and communicate with other fielders
- Carry the work into game-speed plays
- Follow a 12-week plan built around your position and goals

Questions
- Is this for Baseball or Fastpitch?
- Baseball. Outfield Development is a Baseball program.
- Which positions does it cover?
- Left field, center field and right field, or several outfield positions. You choose before the first session.
- How long is the program?
- 36 guided sessions completed in order. You choose 2 or 3 training days a week: 3 days takes 12 weeks, 2 days about 18 weeks.
- What equipment do the drills use?
- A fielding glove and baseballs, plus items such as tennis or soft training balls, cones or markers, a throw-down base, a throwing target, a fungo bat and an outfield fence or wall. Each drill lists what it needs.
- What happens if my player reports pain?
- Each session starts with a readiness check. If Pain is reported, the session stops and both Infield and Outfield training stop for the rest of the day; the notice tells you to follow the guidance of a parent, coach, athletic trainer or qualified healthcare professional before returning to training.
- Is it part of the Coach Bass membership?
- No. Outfield Development is a separate program you buy once, and it does not unlock Infield Development.
