Power Hitting: harder contact without giving up the swing
Power Hitting is a 6-week, 18-session program for hitters who need to turn their swing into harder contact while keeping direction, balance and barrel control.
It does not chase launch angle. The focus is hard, clean contact, direction, barrel control and power that holds up in a game: hit the ball harder, keep the swing.
Sport: Baseball and Fastpitch. Ownership and player access are kept separate by sport.

Who Power Hitting is for
- Baseball and fastpitch hitters who need to turn their swing into harder contact.
- Hitters who try to create power by swinging harder or trying to lift the ball, and lose length, balance, direction or consistency.
- Players also working through Hitting Development or Bat Speed: one session from each structured program may be completed on the same day.
Why swinging harder and lifting the ball backfire
Many hitters try to create more power by simply swinging harder or trying to lift the ball. The result is often a longer swing, poor balance, lost direction and inconsistent contact. Coach Bass Power Hitting trains the hitter to create harder contact without abandoning the swing.
What the hitter works on
- Create harder contact
- Improve direction through the ball
- Deliver the barrel more efficiently
- Maintain balance at higher intent
- Stay behind the ball while creating power
- Create hard contact to the middle and opposite side
- React to inside pitches without abandoning the approach
- Maintain power as pitch speed changes
- Use power intelligently in hitter's counts
- Transfer power into competitive at-bats
