By using CoachBass.com, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Accounts are created and managed by adults. A parent or legal guardian creates and manages the account for a minor athlete, submits the athlete's information and video, and is responsible for the account's use. Player records do not sign in on their own.

CoachBass.com provides hitting-development education and tools for baseball and fastpitch softball, which may include video-based hitter evaluations, development plans, instructional content and drills, training tools, and a hitter's development record over time. The service develops the hitter you have — it is a teaching and development system, not a shortcut.

CoachBass.com does not guarantee athletic outcomes of any kind.

That includes — without limitation — improved statistics, playing time, team selection, college recruitment, scholarships, professional opportunities, or any specific performance result. Athletic development depends on many factors beyond any training program, including practice, coaching, competition, physical development, and the athlete themselves.

Video-based evaluations are limited by the quality, angle, completeness, and visible evidence of the video you submit. The system reports what the video actually supports, and it may appropriately conclude that something cannot be determined. No evaluation identifies every possible hitting issue.

Evaluations are produced automatically using Coach Bass's methodology unless something is explicitly identified as personally reviewed by Coach Bass.

The Free Hitter Scan is free with a free family account. It is for baseball players, it accepts one full game at-bat per player every 30 days, and the report is released only after Coach Bass has read it. The video is kept privately, is deleted after 90 days, and can be deleted sooner at your request.

Baseball, softball, hitting practice, drills, exercise, and any strength or conditioning work involve physical activity and carry risk of injury. You and the athlete's parent or guardian are responsible for appropriate supervision, a safe training environment and equipment, and deciding whether participation in any activity is appropriate for the athlete.

Training content on CoachBass.com is educational. It is not medical advice, a diagnosis, physical therapy, or individualized medical treatment, and it does not prevent injury. An athlete with an injury, pain, a medical condition, or any health concern should get guidance from a qualified professional before participating.

You keep your rights in the videos and content you submit. You give CoachBass.com the limited rights needed to host, store, process, analyze, and display your content back to you in order to operate the service — for example, evaluating a swing video and keeping it in your hitter's development record.

That is the whole license: submitting content does not grant marketing or publicity rights. Any public or promotional use of identifiable player media requires separate, appropriate permission. You are responsible for having the right and authority to submit the media you upload.

You agree not to:

• access another family's account or data, or attempt to;
• upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or media you lack rights to;
• interfere with or disrupt the service;
• share, misuse, or abuse credentials; or
• probe, bypass, or attempt to defeat security or access controls.

Coach Bass branding, methodology as presented in the service, instructional content, drills, videos, written material, site content, and software belong to Coach Bass and its licensors. A membership grants access to use those materials within the service — it does not transfer ownership of them. Your own uploaded videos remain yours, as described above.

Some parts of the service are available through paid membership or purchases. Payments are processed by Stripe; CoachBass.com never sees your card details. Every price is shown in US dollars, and the total you will pay is shown before you confirm payment.

Membership. Coach Bass Hitter Development is billed monthly or annually and renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from Manage billing on your account page; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for and then ends. If a renewal payment fails, access continues while Stripe retries the card, and ends if the payment is not made.

Digital products. A digital product is delivered immediately after payment. With an account, it stays under My Products for as long as you hold the account. Bought without an account, it is delivered by a secure order link emailed to the address you paid with, valid for 7 days and renewable from the order lookup page; create an account with that same email and the order is saved to it for good.

Merchandise. When merchandise is offered it ships within the United States only, the shipping cost is shown at checkout, and tracking is emailed when the order ships.

Refunds. Refunds are handled by Coach Bass through Stripe and go back to the original form of payment. A full refund of a digital product ends access to it. Questions about an order go through the contact page.

CoachBass.com is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. The service may change, add, remove, or maintain features, and temporary downtime can occur.

Coach Bass may suspend or end access for misuse of the service or violation of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coach Bass disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing here is intended to be unfair to the families the service exists for — the practical points are the honest ones above: video evaluations are limited by their evidence, athletic results can't be guaranteed, and physical training carries inherent risk.

These Terms will be updated as the service grows. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date, and continued use of the service after a change means the updated Terms apply.
