Hitting Development: the 12-week hitting program
Hitting Development is Coach Bass's complete hitting program: 12 weeks and 36 guided sessions that take a hitter from swing foundation to game-ready competition.
Every session tells the hitter what to work on, why it matters, how many reps to complete and how to carry the work into competition. It is not a random drill library; it follows one progression from the hands to the at-bat.
Sport: Baseball and Fastpitch. Ownership and player access are kept separate by sport.

Who Hitting Development is for
- Baseball and fastpitch hitters who need a complete hitting-development system.
- Hitters who jump from drill to drill or change mechanics after a bad game, with no clear way to know what to work on next.
- Parents who want every session laid out: the work, the reason, the reps and how it carries into games.
Why a plan, not more drills
Too many hitters train without a clear plan. They jump from drill to drill, change mechanics after bad games and have no structured way to know what to work on next. Coach Bass 12-Week Hitting Development gives the hitter a defined progression and a clear training plan for every session.

The progression: Hands to Compete
Across the 12 weeks the hitter works through hand action, barrel control, direction, load consistency, bat speed, timing, approach, two-strike hitting, counts, situations and complete at-bats, in this order:

- Direction
- Barrel — The back hand throws the barrel Coach Bass lesson →
- Momentum — The front shoulder Coach Bass lesson →
- Approach — The approach Coach Bass lesson →
- Compete
Where it fits in the CoachBass system
Hitting Development is the foundation hitting program. Bat Speed and Power Hitting are separate, focused programs, and a player may complete one session from each structured program on the same day.
It is a separate purchase from the Coach Bass membership, which covers the ongoing lessons, the drill and strength libraries, My Plan, swing video, at-bats, goals and progress. Not sure where to start? The Free Hitter Scan gives one baseball at-bat a clear starting point.
